Leasing an Audi A4

History of Audi A4

The Audi A4 was released in 1994 as an executive compact car, succeeding the classic Audi 80. To begin with, it offered an enormous choice of engines, but as it found its niche, it focused on all-round performance and various designs to suit all tastes and needs within the segment, leading to the range we know today, released in 2016.

Audi A4 Engines and Performance

The range offers two fuel types for the engine range; the petrol TFSI Quattro and the diesel TDI Quattro. There are various sizes, from 1.0-litre to 3.0-litre, each with its own power capabilities. The entry-level Quattro Sport, for example, has the 35 TFSI offering 150 PS of power, going up to the 40 TDI offering 204 PS. The A4 Allroad turbo 50 TDI offers 286 PS of power. This is the only model with the 8-speed tiptronic, automatic transmission. The most powerful petrol engine is found in the TFSI Black Edition, providing 265 PS of power. The other engines provide a choice between the 7-speed S tronic automatic gearbox, and the 6-speed manual.

Audi A4 Features

The head-up display allows access to the stereo system and sat nav, as well as various assistance and safety features. These include Parking Assist, a parking camera and cruise control. Audi Connect also allows you to access the Internet as well as a connection for your smartphone.

Audi A4 Servicing and Warranty

Audi offers its new cars with a three-year or 60,000-mile warranty. Servicing should take place annually to ensure the smooth running of your car and its features.

Related Ranges from Other Manufacturers

The rivalry between an Audi A4 and the Mercedes C Class is one of the oldest around, both cars are considered top choices when looking for an executive car. Meanwhile, the BMW 3 Series car has ensured this ongoing battle does not rest on its laurels, with cutting edge design and technology that rivals both its competitors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it better to buy or lease an Audi A4?

Contract hire can enable those who would not otherwise be able to afford a new car, to access luxury vehicles such as the Audi A4. It removes the worry about depreciation. Once your contract has ended, you can also upgrade to the latest releases.

How much is it to lease an Audi A4?

As well as your annual mileage, pricing will be informed by everything that is optional on the car, including trim features and the engine itself. While this may complicate the question, it does mean you can avoid paying for things that you do not need, minimising costs. Also, be aware of any excess mileage charges. Road tax is included. You can also arrange for a callback from a broker to discuss your needs.
