Leasing an Audi Q7

Background to the Audi Q7

Audi’s first venture into the SUV market occurred in 2005, with the first Q7 models. The Q5 soon followed and various other ranges, but the Q7 has always retained an allure as being unique due to its handling, akin to a coupe or Sportback. The second generation of designs that are on offer today includes four trims; the Sport, S line, Black Edition and Vorsprung, as well as the hybrid Q7 TFSI e and the upgraded SQ7. Its mammoth boot space of 890-litres makes it one of the most spacious luxury SUVs available.

Audi Q7 Engines and Performance

Entry-level trims, from the Sport to the Quattro Vorsprung, have the choice of three engines across two fuel types. The petrol 55 TFSI Quattro 3.0-litre engine has 340ps of power, while the Audi Q7 diesel estate offers the 45 TDI with 231ps of power and the 50 TDI has 286ps. Both diesel engines are also 3.0-litre V6 units and all have S tronic automatic transmissions. The powerful 55 TFSI e Quattro electric-petrol hybrid engine provides 381ps of power and takes eight hours to charge from a home socket. Lastly, the enormous 4.0-litre V8 SQ7 diesel engine provides 435ps of power. Both are 8-speed tiptronic transmissions.

Audi Q7 Trim Levels

The 19-inch alloy wheels on the Sport design increase in size all the way up to 22-inches for the Vorsprung, while the LED Matrix headlights become HD. Various paint finishes and eight colours are also available as well as exterior racks, child seats and a Bang and Olufsen stereo.

Audi Q7 Safety and Infotainment Features

A twin-screen, virtual cockpit provides access to various features, including the stereo and MMI navigation system. Through this, you can connect your smartphone, accessing the Internet and voice commands. Safety features include Pre Sense Front, which provides early warning for collisions, speed limited cruise control, lane keeping assist and parking assistance.

Audi Q7 Servicing and Warranty

Audi provides a three-year warranty for all new cars. This has a 60,000-mile limit and can be extended to four years and 75,000 miles or five years and 90,000 miles. Servicing would take place annually, and Audi provides a free health check-up to ensure the engine is running smoothly.
