Leasing a BMW 3 Series Touring
Background to the BMW 3 Series Touring
The BMW 3 Series Touring is now in its sixth generation, first launching into the market in 1987. This is the smallest estate in the BMW family and measures the same length as the 3 Series Saloon but still fits in a generous 500-litre boot. It’s also 10kg lighter than its predecessor, providing a more agile drive and lower CO2 emissions. The 3 Series Touring is part of the wider BMW 3 Series lease range.
BMW 3 Series Touring Engines and Performance
Along with the standard diesel and petrol fuel types, the BMW 3 Series Touring has a plug-in hybrid model. The all-electric drive can last up to 35 miles or for a combined distance with the petrol engine of up to 372 miles. Choose from a selection of TwinPower Turbo 4- and 6-cylinder engines and, if speed’s your thing, the M340i xDrive goes from 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds. Manual and automatic options are available, including a state-of-the-art 8-speed automatic gearbox.
BMW 3 Series Touring Trim Levels
The four trim levels start with the standard SE and peak with the M Sport Pro Edition. The entry-level model comes with 17-inch light alloy V-Spoke wheels and features such as Parking Assistant and the 8.8-inch central touchscreen. The M Sport Pro Edition has 19-inch double-spoke black alloys and bespoke BMW paintwork including Dravit Grey and Tanzanite Blue options.
BMW 3 Series Touring Safety and Infotainment Features
The standard infotainment package comes with sat nav, DAB radio and Bluetooth connectivity. If you choose the M Sport model, you’ll also get the Personal Assistant feature which can be activated with a voice command similar to Alexa or Siri.
BMW 3 Series Touring Servicing and Warranty

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is it to lease a BMW 3 Series Touring?
There are a number of factors to consider when costing up your lease car. These include how much you want to put down as the upfront initial payment, the length of the lease you’re after and your proposed annual mileage. You’ll also need to take into account things like which trim you choose and whether you fancy a petrol or diesel engine. If relevant, extra fees like excess mileage will be calculated at the end of your lease.
Is it better to buy or lease a BMW 3 Series Touring?
One of the key benefits to personal leasing a car is you get all the luxury of a brand new car, but without the superior price tag. For business users, you can claim back VAT on your motoring expenses, and no longer have to worry about things like road tax which are all included in the contract hire. Even better, all LeaseFetcher lease cars come with free delivery within England, Wales and Scotland.
