BMW X3 M Lease

The X3 M packs a 3.0 litre straight six engine that turns out 503bhp. It’s also all-wheel-drive, so the X3 M doesn’t half shift. 0-62mph takes just 3.8 seconds, and the eight-speed automatic gearbox shifts almost imperceptibly. 

The X3 M is just as generous as the X3 when it comes to space. There’s ample room up-front and in the rear, and a 40/20/40 split folding rear bench allows you to configure the space exactly as you want it. Fold the rear seats flat and you’ve got enough space for a trip to Ikea. 

The interior is also suitably plush and well-equipped. All models have a 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen as standard which runs on BMW’s iDrive software. This can also be operated using a rotary dial when you need to keep your eyes on the road. 

There are also plenty of reminders throughout the cabin that this is an ‘M’-badged car - you know, just in case your colleagues didn’t clock it from the sweet sound of the straight six. 

The X3 M might seem like a niche proposition, but it’s actually joined by a whole raft of speedy SUVs, including the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, and the Porsche Macan.
