Leasing a Jeep Wrangler Hard TOP
Though the body type and aesthetic design of the Wrangler descend from Jeep’s military beginnings, the first Wrangler model was designed in 1986. This fourth generation Wrangler is available in two distinct body types; this, the sturdier, better-protected and quieter Hard TOP, or the Jeep Wrangler Soft TOP with its versatility and removability. Regardless of which top you choose, the Wrangler is an off-road two - or four-door marvel that can tackle any terrain that dares step in front of it.
Every Jeep Wrangler will have obtained the prestigious Trail Rated badge, meaning it has the traction, weight and manoeuvrability to tackle any terrain or weather conditions. The Jeep Wrangler offers a petrol fuel type engine with 2.0-litre turbocharged GME unit producing 272hp. There's a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 197hp and both units are mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is around 31mpg for the diesel, with emissions of 247g/km. However, it is Jeep’s 4x4 optimisations that really set the Wrangler apart. With 75 years of design tweaking under their belt, Jeep offers their Wranglers with a Selec-Trac 4x4 system.
There are five trims; the Sport, Sahara, Night Eagle, Overland and Rubicon. Standard equipment includes a 7-inch or 8-inch touchscreen with sat nav and smartphone compatibility. There's a toolbox included - to fold the windscreen or to unclip the doors while out in the hills. The hard top is easily removed when necessary.
Jeep Wranglers have a number of additional features like stability control which help you drive safely over rough terrain. In addition to these safety features, they benefit from an impressive array of infotainment features with audio system integration. Wranglers also have several other driver assistance technologies, including forward collision warning and blind spot monitoring. There’s also cruise control, climate control and descent control which guarantee the Wrangler will withstand both the elements and the earth.
As a new car, your Jeep Wrangler will have a five-year or 75,000-miles warranty. See the Jeep Warranties page for more information.
