Volvo V60 Lease

Volvo is generally known for two things: safety and estate cars. It comes as no surprise, then, that the V60 is both an excellent estate with plenty to offer the modern professional, and a frugal family car with a fantastic array of safety features.  Less More

Volvo also produces a larger estate car, the V90. If sportier styling is more your thing, be sure to check out the S60 saloon. Or, for a higher ride and greater practicality, take a look at the XC60.

You get a choice of four petrol powertrains with varying levels of hybrid-electric assistance. The B3 mild-hybrid is the cheapest and most economical of the mild-hybrids, achieving 45.6mpg.

All-wheel-drive is available with the B5 mild-hybrid and the T6 plug-in hybrid. The latter is the most expensive, but with 54.7miles of electric range and 18g/km CO2, it attracts generous BiK discounts for company car drivers, costs less to drive, and packs hot-hatch worthy acceleration.

The V60 is also plenty-practical, with 529 litres of storage space in the boot, which can be increased to 1,440 litres with the rear seats folded flat. Got your hands full? Handy additions like the hands-free tailgate make for stress-free loading.

The V60 is also brimming with top tech, including a 9-inch infotainment screen for music and navigation, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, and safety features like Blind Spot Information (BLIS), 360 degree parking cameras, and collision detection, which have earned it a 5 star Euro NCAP score.

Safe estate cars might be Volvo’s bread and butter, but they’re not the only manufacturer with a decent offering in this department. The Audi A4 Avant has a greater choice of engines on offer, and the BMW 3 Series Touring packs some innovative tricks up its sleeve.
