Leasing a Peugeot 2008 SUV

Background to the Peugeot 2008 SUV

The Peugeot 2008 SUV was first released in 2019 and is Peugeot’s second generation of the supermini SUV. Its exterior styling and spacious cabin mimics that of premium car brands such as Mercedes and BMW. The 2008’s light structure provides a comfortable and smooth drive with minimal wind noise thanks to the levels of sound insulation. While offering six trim levels, all Peugeot 2008 cars come with the standard second-generation i-Cockpit system offering above average entry-trim features including Apple Carplay and LED rear lights.

Peugeot 2008 SUV Engines and Performance

The Peugeot 2008 is offered with the choice of petrol and diesel engines and there is also a fully electric version available known as the e-2008. The Peugeot 2008 offers its petrol engine range with three power outputs: 100bhp, 129bhp and 153bhp from a punchy 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder unit. Regardless of output, all petrol engines deliver a lively drive. The diesel SUV comes with a 1.5-litre BlueHDI unit with 101bhp, a six-speed manual and CO2 emissions of 118g/km.

Peugeot 2008 SUV Trim Levels

When designing your Peugeot 2008 lease, you have the option of six trim levels, all which offer state-of-the-art features and elevate your new car’s interior cabin. The trim level starts with the entry-level Active line which includes 16-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a leather steering wheel. The Active Premium trim provides an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, heated door mirrors and sat nav.  The Allure trim adds desirable extras including climate control, power-folding door mirrors and privacy glass. With the Allure Premium trim you can expect a larger 10-inch infotainment screen and 3D digital instrument dials. The GT trim boasts keyless entry and blind spot monitoring and the GT Line adds more visual features including a rear view camera and a smartphone charging pad.

Peugeot 2008 SUV Safety and Infotainment Features

The Peugeot 2008 is equipped with excellent safety features that get even more advanced the further up the trim levels you go. The 2008 has an elevated driving position which gives you an excellent view of the road and rear parking sensors are standard. Opt for the GT Line, you can also expect front parking sensors and a rear view camera. Entry-level Peugeot 2008’s come with a 7-inch infotainment system which increases in size. Infotainment features such as an updated speaker set-up and a panoramic roof can be found in the GT-line.

Peugeot 2008 SUV Servicing and Warranty

Peugeot offers five year/100,000 mile warranties with their vehicles which covers the cost of repair or replacement of Peugeot parts. Peugeot recommends that you have your vehicle serviced every 12 months or after 12,000 miles, whichever is reached sooner.
