Leasing a BMW 5 Series Touring

Background to the BMW 5 Series Touring

A more spacious version of BMW’s iconic 5 Series Saloon, the BMW 5 Series Touring features the same excellent handling and mechanics, timeless design and great driving experience. Designed with families in mind, there is space for even the longest legs and the 560-litre boot provides plenty of storage. The Touring is part of the wider BMW 5 Series lease range.

BMW 5 Series Touring Engines and Performance

You can choose an engine in petrol and diesel fuel types or go for BMW’s 530e plug-in hybrid. Of the three diesel engines, the 520d is good for motorway miles, with fuel economy of 45mpg, while the petrol BMW 5 Series Touring 520i returns 42.2mpg. The handling is well-balanced and the eight-speed automatic gearbox, which comes as standard with all engines, is very smooth. BMW’s all-wheel drive system, it is called xDrive, is also available.

BMW 5 Series Touring Trim Levels

Trim levels for your BMW 5 Series Touring lease car are SE, M Sport and M Sport Edition. With the SE model, you’ll have either 17- or 18-inch light alloy wheels and Dakota leather upholstery, while the M Sport features 19-inch M light alloy wheels, M Sport brakes and M Sport suspension. The top-end M Sport Edition has 20-inch M Edition light alloy wheels, high-gloss Red M Sport brakes and exclusive BMW exterior paint in Metallic Tanzanite Blue or Donington Grey.

BMW 5 Series Touring Safety and Infotainment Features

Hassle-free parking is guaranteed with front and rear parking sensors coming as standard, and bright LED headlights help at night. The infotainment system, centred around a 12.3-inch widescreen, includes sat nav, DAB radio and a built-in hard drive for storing music. The futuristic Gesture Control feature is available as an add-on, as is a top-of-the-range music system.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is it to lease a BMW 5 Series Touring?

What you pay depends on a range of points. For example, if you want a BMW 5 Series diesel or petrol engine, how much you want to pay for your initial payment and what trim you fancy. Clearly, if you want a BMW 5 Series Touring lease car with all the bells and whistles, your monthly repayments will be more. Whereas if you choose the most modest trim and smallest engine, you’ll pay less.

Is it better to buy or lease a BMW 5 Series Touring?

A brand new BMW 5 Series isn’t cheap. But the beauty of contract hire is you get all the perks of driving a new, premium car, without the cost. You make your initial rental payment, agree a contract length and then make monthly repayments. At the end of your contract you hand back the car and have the option to drive away a new lease car. Even better, your monthly payments include road tax and with LeaseFetcher you get free delivery of your lease car straight to your door.
