Leasing an Audi Q5
Audi released the Q5 in 2008, based loosely on the Audi A4. It was always designed to be a compact version of the standard SUV design, like the Audi A1 Sportback. The current generation of vehicles was released in 2013, and although there have been several facelifts since, it still provides 550-litres of boot space. There are four trims - the Sport, S line, Edition 1 and Vorsprung.
There are three engines available across the Q5 range, including two diesel and one petrol-electric hybrid. The standard Audi Q5 diesel estate is a 2.0-litre engine that produces 204ps of power for the 40 TDI model. The hybrid fuel type engine, the 50 TFSI e Quattro provides 299ps of power and can be charged in seven hours from a home socket. Lastly, the SQ5 Vorsprung model has a 3.0-litre engine with 347ps of power. All come with S tronic automatic transmission - 7-speed on the Q5 and 8-speed on the SQ5.
All designs come with alloy wheels, which go from 18-inches for the Sport to 21-inches for the Vorsprung. LED headlights are upgraded to Matrix on the S line and OLED rear lights for the Vorsprung. Bespoke trim levels include 11 colours, the Comfort and Sound Pack, with Bang and Olufsen stereo, City or Tour Packs and exterior storage racks.
Audi provides a virtual cockpit with a 10-inch touchscreen. Through this, you can operate the MMI navigation system and stereo. It is also smartphone compatible and you can use voice commands. Safety features include cruise control, hill descent control, parking assistance and collision prevention.
Audi offers a three-year manufacturer's warranty with a 60,000 miles limit but can be extended for both time and usage. Servicing should be undertaken annually to ensure maximum performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Contract hire pricing is made up of several different factors, including specs, trim levels and whether or not it is a personal lease. This helps you to construct a contract whereby you avoid paying for features you do not require, minimising costs. Be aware of excess mileage charges and road tax is included. You can arrange for a callback from a broker to discuss your car leasing needs. A business lease will be exc VAT, and a personal ease will be inc VAT.
Leasing can be both more affordable and flexible than when buying a car outright. Not only can you upgrade to a new car at the end of your contract, you need not worry about the depreciation in price that occurs as soon as your car leaves the showroom.
